Non Objective Family Portraits

Before the break (I’ll be kind to myself and not specify which break), the students completed an abstract work . They were challenged with assigning non-objective shapes to represent both the members of their family/people they live with AND the relationships between them.  They then had to write an artist’s statement defending and explaining their choices.  Here are some well-executed designs.
