For our second digital photography project, we created a series of photos that represented a love/hate relationship with the students’ hometown. The Photoshop techniques that we practiced and tied in to the project included adding depth of focus to a deep depth of field photograph and isolating and highlighting colors in pictures. Each student wrote an artist’s statement about the project that explained how their photographs represented or illustrated their feelings about this town.
